Dingaleshwar Swamiji to Contest Election? Decision Likely Tomorrow

Hubballi: Fakir Dingaleshwar Swamiji of Shirahattimath has announced plans to convene a meeting of seers at Moorusavirmath in the city tomorrow. The meeting aims to address social, religious, and political issues facing society.

While speaking to reporters, the Swamiji refrained from making any definitive statements regarding the circulating news suggesting his potential candidacy as an independent candidate in the upcoming Lok Sabha election. However, he indicated that a decision on this matter is likely to be made after the meeting.

The Swamiji mentioned that invitations will be extended to all seers, although it remains unclear who and how many will participate in the meeting. If the Swamiji contest the election, then Lingayat votes may get split and it may create hurdle for the current MP Pralhad Joshi securing fifth term as an MP.
